Anyone remember the movie Drop Dead Fred?
The girl had a hilariously mischievous imaginary friend, one who popped her in the head with a shovel, played pranks, wiped buggers on her, and kicked her in the shins. The silliest movie ever, and I'd once laughed all the way through it, remembering so much of it nearly 20 years later, yet can't remember where I put the mouse trap this morning.
Today, at the psychiatrist's office, two of my children, who remain unnamed, but totally unconcerned that I'm blogging this episode, acted out pretty impressively.
In Drop Dead Fred, there's a scene in a therapy office where all the kids are sitting around...with all their imaginary friends clowning around in the room.
That I still find this funny, after so much craziness, that I cracked up laughing today after the psychiatrist, who is Hispanic, and I switched over to Spanish, so as not to further inflame Paloma who truly showed her colors there today...that I can still speak in sorta complete sentences, is almost amazing.
Guess who got prescribed a higher dose of Abilify today?
Not me, honey.

my son once self injuried his head at the psy doctor after the nice psy doctor, we never saw again, thought there was nothing wrong with my son other than mild ADHD...
there was blood everywhere...
he has also been kicked out of the psy office by the psy doctor... you just got to bust a gut laughing about that...
I like Drop dead Fred...
I hope your kids get the treatment they need... I just don't think it is going to get any better for them or my kids any time soon... access to real good treatment wise...
