I'm surprised you don't have honey bees for your own honey. Went to an Eagle Scout presentation at a friend's home on the river with lots of land and she does very moderate vegetable gardening, but loves the honey bees and says it's easy.
Adele, I'd LOVE to have honeybees, or carpenter bees, or mason bees. It is on my list for someday.
